Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I have just been speaking to a friend, who happened to mention in conversation that he received 21 letters from you concerning the license and tv that he does not have, so
In view that i cannot find the information in the public domain, be so kind and to reproduce that information i am requesting.
A)I would like you to print for me the series of letters that are sent out to households concerning the licensing of tv's(start to finish,template form)
B)your governing article of law, giving you power.
C)your policy conerning your action after being informed that there is no television set at a property.
D)Your policy concerning the use of detector vans.
E)Your policy using inspectors.
F)average time from first letter to court appearance.
G)Any court action taken against you for Harassment(national, E+W+SC+NI).
H)Is there a facility anywhere at all on your range of letters, where an individual is asked and can say no, put a cross, or otherwise indicate to you that there is no tv set at that address or property.
I)If yes, and after being informed that there is no tv set at a particular address, please print your reasons for continuing to send letters out(bearing in mind that your legal obligations have ended when a person replies that there is no tv set).
