Dear FOI,

Thank you for your response in which you stated "The ‘crime’ is an offence under the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992. This is a summary offence and therefore dealt with in a Magistrates Court.
The 'Law' is the one already quoted to you, the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992."

I find it strange that you dont appear to know the difference between a 'Crime, Offence, 'Regulations' and 'Law'.

1: A 'Crime' is commited when a 'Law' is broken.
2: 'Regulations' come under 'Acts' and 'Statutes' and are not 'Laws'
3: 'Acts' and 'Statutes' are only enforceable by 'Consent'

May I suggest you read up on acts, statutes and the law?
Its evident that you currently have no understanding whatsoever and are putting out totaly false information.

I shall now contact the ICO who will in turn contact yourselves on my behalf and obtain the information I originally requested from yourselves.

Yours sincerely,

Tyrone Armatage

FOI, Blackpool Borough Council

Dear Mr Armatage

I note from the history of your request on the WhatDoTheyKnow website link provided by you that the Council has already undertaken an Internal Review and provided a response to you. In that response you were provided with details of the legislation and the offences. I can also confirm that we do not hold any further information that we can provide to you in relation to your request.

Therefore as we have already undertaken an internal review, we are unable to undertake another internal review. In our Internal Review response we outlined the process as required under the FOI Act should you continue to be dissatisfied and I would direct you to this.

Yours sincerely

Dear FOI,

In your response you stated......"you were provided with details of the legislation and the offences"

As you failed to provide me with documentary proof that a 'Crime' was being commited, it is obvious that you are using scaremonger tactics and lies to get people to provide you with personal details when there is no lawful reason why they should.

Legislation (acts and statutes) are not law. Acts and statutes can only be implemented by consent, this is because in the UK we are governed by consent.

I suggest you update your council tax documents accordingly and educate yourselves in common law.

You are a disgrace.

Yours sincerely,

Tyrone Armatage
