Liability Insurance - Electromagnetic Radiation

Dear Northamptonshire County Council,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, you are requested to provide the following information:

1. Copies of all commercial & public liability insurance documents with a schedule of what is covered, policy numbers, provider and underwriters that are held by Northamptonshire County Council,. In particular documents mentioning 'pollution liability', 'policy enhancement' and 'schedule of exclusions' or similar;

2. A copy of the 'Certificate of indemnity' for Northamptonshire County Council, with details of the insurance provider and underwriters, confirming indemnification for any damages, injuries and/or adverse health effects directly or indirectly caused or contributed to by electromagnetic fields. electromagnetic radiation, electromagnetism, radio waves, wireless RF radiation, microwave radiation, non-ionising radiation emitting devices and equipment;

3. Details of all locations of 5G equipment, including and not limited to masts, street lighting with 5G technology, control equipment and other transmitting/receiving devices authorised by Northamptonshire County Council,;

4. What process was used to check the health implications that would arise from authorising and installing the 5G equipment, by whom and when was this authorisation given.

Thank you for your email.  Please note that due to the emerging
Coronavirus situation Northamptonshire County Council will not respond to
any request received under the Freedom of Information Act or the
Environmental Information Regulations during the period from 08:00 hrs.
Wednesday 25^th March until Friday 1^st May Inclusive.  Such requests will

I am writing to you in respect of the Freedom of Information request below that you previously submitted to Northamptonshire County Council which was subsequent to the COVID-19 outbreak.

As we have previously stated, we had reviewed the way in which we were processing requests due to allocation of resources within the organisation. I am writing today to confirm that we are now in a better position to complete your request should you still want the information.

If you do, please simply reply back to this email stating that you still wish to receive the information and we will process your request as a new submission. If we do not hear back from you within the next 28 days we will assume that you no longer wish to receive the information.

Services within the organisation that provide responses to our requests are still experiencing resource issues and therefore they may not be in a position to respond as quickly as they would in normal circumstances. If this is the case we will keep you informed as to the progress of your request and likely timescale changes that may occur as a result.
