This should only relate to properties that are or could be affected directly by what is known as the Bedroom Tax. Please do not include figures for the homeless or B&B's in your reply etc.

2. How many households was the Housing Benefit amount in Q1 for? Please quote for each year.

3. How much was spent on Local Housing Allowance payments for private tenancies in financial years:

4. How many households was the Local Housing Allowance amount in Q3 for? Please quote for each year.

The figures provided are the total expenditure figures from the subsidy
claim for each year.

2. How many households was the Housing Benefit amount in Q1 for? Please
quote
for each year.

The figures below are based upon caseload figures at the end of Q1 for each
year.

2010/2011 - 11,936
2011/2012 - 11,929
2012/2013 - 11,986

3. How much was spent on Local Housing Allowance payments for private
tenancies
in financial years:

The figures provided are the total expenditure figures from the subsidy
claim for each year.

2010/2011 - £11,349,677
2011/2012 - £13,388,949
2012/2013 - £14,430,984

4. How many households was the Local Housing Allowance amount in Q3 for?
Please
quote for each year.

A).

These figures are not available for Local Housing Allowance as the measured
figure includes Local housing Allowance and other types of Private
Tenancies.

Your right to seek a review

Should you be dissatisfied with the way in which North Ayrshire Council has
dealt with your request, you have the right to ask us to review decisions.

Your request should explain why you wish a review to be carried out, and
should be made within 40 working days of receipt of this letter. We will
reply within 20 working days of receipt. Staff not involved in your
original request will undertake the review. If you are not satisfied with
the result of the review you then have the right to make a formal complaint
