Dear Sir or Madam,
During the last five years how many times has the Local Government Ombudsman (as a result of investigating a complaint against Stratford on Avon District Council) brought to the attention of the council the fact that a member of Stratford on Avon District Council staff had misled them, lied to them or done anything else to hinder their investigation. If they have what disciplinary action was taken against the individual(s) concerned by the council.

Having checked our records, there is no information that officers have :
*hindered the LGO in their investigations of complaints, or
*misled the LGO and, therefore
* it has not been necessary for an officer needing to be disciplined for
mishandling a complaint.

I refer to your recent e-mail request, under the Freedom of Information
Act, containing the following question:
" During the last five years how many times has the Local Government
Ombudsman (as a result of investigating a complaint against

I can confirm that I have no records or information concerning any such
behaviour by an officer or action taken against us by the LGO.
As this would be an action brought against this authority by the Local
Government Ombudsman I would suggest you refer your question direct to
