LGBT Hate Crime Statistics

The request was successful.

Dear West Mercia Police,

Please could you provide information based on the number of all ‘homophobic/transphobic incidents’ in all wards that West Mercia Police covers. This would be including a range from verbal harassments, physical assaults or more serious complaints that resulted in convictions. All incidents/complaints motivated by hatred towards members of the LGBT community in West Mercia Police neighbourhoods.

The information I would like could come in a form of a table with the location, date/year and details on the result of the complaint (I.e prosecution or none).

The information ideally would need to be within the past 10 years but if not possible within the past 5 years is ideal.

I look forward to your response to my FOI request.

Any questions or enquiries please feel free to email me.

Yours faithfully,
Mr George Clarke
