Letter Confirming Receipt Of Application

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Home Office should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Home Office,

I am writing in regards to an FLR (M) application I sent on the 5th of September and was received by The Home Office, Durham on the 7th of September 2015 via Royal Mail special delivery.

I was debited by cheque for the application fees (£649) on the 11th of September and I was expecting to receive a letter confirming receipt of my application and the biometrics letter before my visa expires on the 18th of September but haven’t receive it.

My current employers required me to show evidence of an application made by me to remain in the UK since my current visa has expired but except for the tracking details from mailing the application and a transaction in my bank account showing the debited application fees, I have no proof to show them.

This has made me really distraught and unable to concentrate in most things as I eagerly wait for any letter from the Home Office to come in the post.

I was know there has to be a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why I haven’t received the letter(s) expected yet but right now, I am completely at lost as at what to do.

I hereby plead your indulgence to help me with mailing the letter(s) so that I can assure my employer that I have made an application in time and also to ease my mind of the restlessness.

I understand that there are many more applications to attend to and you all at the Home Office are working hard to ensure that all due process is followed. I really appreciate that and want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work and dedication in your jobs.

I await your prompt resonse

Yours faithfully,

Helen Ibeachu
