Leith Biomass Plant - Heat Correspondence
Dear Lothian Buses PLC,
Can you confirm whether there has been any correspondence between Lothian Buses and Forth Energy, Forth Ports, Scottish and Southern Energy, or agents acting on behalf of any of the above companies, with regards the use of heat produced by a proposed biomass plant on Leith Docks in properties owned, or rented, by Lothian Buses?
If there has been correspondence on this subject, please tell me the addresses of the properties that this correspondence relates to.

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
I refer to your e-mail of 27th November in which you made a request for
information in the following terms -
"Can you confirm whether there has been any correspondence between Lothian
Buses and Forth Energy, Forth Ports, Scottish and Southern Energy, or
agents acting on behalf of any of the above companies, with regards the
use of heat produced by a proposed biomass plant on Leith Docks in
properties owned, or rented, by Lothian Buses?
If there has been correspondence on this subject, please tell me the
addresses of the properties that this correspondence relates to."
To date, there has been no correspondence between this Company and any of
the companies named in your request as promoters of the proposed biomass
plant at Leith Docks in relation to the use of heat produced by that
plant. Nor has there been any correspondence on that topic with agents
acting on their behalf.
If you are not satisfied with how we have responded to your request for
information and/or the information that we have provided, you can request
that Lothian Buses carry out a review. This will take a maximum of 20
working days. If you would like to do this, please contact Norman

must be made in writing or other form having permanency, include a name
and address for correspondence and be made within 40 working days of 27th
December, 2010.
If after this review you are still dissatisfied, you have the right of
appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner. The Scottish Information
