Dear Yorkshire Housing,

Please accept this as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.

I am interested to better understand the outcome of the procurement exercise for the “Lot 3 Legionella Contract” that was awarded to Hertel Ltd on the 16/01/12 (OJEU Ref: 12/S 36-57518/EN)

To this end, I would be obliged if you would forward to me a copy of the winning tender submission along with all supporting appendices and information.

If any of the documents requested contain any commercially sensitive information, or any other information that is permitted to be withheld under the FOI Act, kindly redact such information (and only such information) and release the remainder of the documents. If you do redact any information, please provide a redaction table listing the redactions and the reason for them.

In addition could you provide the full scoring breakdown on the tender submission

Dear Peter

Further to your request for information about Legionella Testing, I can
advise that Yorkshire Housing is a private organisation and not subject to
freedom of information requirements.  We are willing to be open about our
business and already provide much on our website. 

 

In relation to the 2012 contract you mention, I believe the timescale
provided under EU procurement rules will have expired.  However I will
check this and get back to you.

Dear Peter

Further to my response to you about this last week.  I confirm that our
procurement of legionella testing services in 2012 was carried out as part
of a larger procurement and was managed for Yorkshire Housing by a
specialist consultant.  I have no reason to doubt that the requirements of
the EU procurement process at that time were fully met.
