Please can you send any information which goes to explain how Nottingham City Council was acting within the EU Competition laws on state aid when paying out over £7.5m towards the annual losses made by health and safety equipment sales company, Woodfield Industries.

The response provided looks to be inconsistent with an earlier Nottingham City Council freedom of information answer. The answer below lists operating costs funded by the council in excess of £7.5m since 2006. This answer denies this. Can anyone explain the apparent inconsistency?
