InfoMgr, FinDMT, Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Mr Smith

We write further to your recent request for information regarding Raby
Mere Road.

We can confirm that the section of Raby Mere Road referred to is unadopted
and not maintained by Wirral Council. The limit of adoption is the steps
up to Banks Farm.

There are no public rights of way along Raby Mere Road and as such it is
likely that the gate has been erected by the landowner to restrict access
to private land.  Wirral Council has no records to confirm when the gate
was installed.

We are unable to assist you further with this enquiry.

Yours sincerely
