Dear Northern Ireland Legal Services Commission,

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to enquire under the Freedom of Information Act as to the following:

(1) How much is paid per diem and in total per annum to the members of the LSC Appeals Panel/s;
(2) Whether the individuals on or previously on the LSC Appeal Panel/s are involved, or have ever been involved, in cases in which Legal Aid has been paid to the claimant/applicant, whether as consultants/employees/self-employed principals or other;
(3) Why members of the Alliance Party were present using the resources of the LSC offices during January 2014;
(4) What measures are taken if any to oversee the decisions of the LSC's Appeal Panels.

Yours sincerely,

S Bell
