Government Legal Department did not have the information requested.

Dear Government Legal Department

Further to an earlier FOI request made to T-Sol, to which Paul kindly replied (https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...), I indicated there appeared to be a discrepancy in the figure provided by T-Sol on funds received from the Home Office (c£52m for the years 2011-14) and the funds Home Office's reported figure for litigation expensidture on immigration and asylum (c£131m for the years 2011-14).

Home Office has stated that they believe the figure you provided does not include adverse legal costs, compensation etc. paid to T-Sol to pass on to third parties (i.e. for cases Home Office loses). Could you please confirm what this figure is, for the years 2011-14?

Yours sincerely

I am following this with interest. I am in the process of putting together a report on the figures provided by the Governments Legal Department with regard to litigation and the use of ADR. Your previous requests have been extremely insightful - many thanks.
