Department

Please find the response to your request below.

Could you send me an up to date structure chart of the legal department
with names, job titles and contact details on it please?

Please see attached the Legal Services structure chart. All officers can
be contacted via our contact centre either through call transfer or, by
raising a request for contact. The Vale of Glamorgan contact centre (C1V)
can be reached by email at [1][email address] or, by telephone at 01446
700111.

How many solicitors does the Council employ? 21

How many legal advisors does the council employ (a role which requires
giving or advising on the law)? 2

How many solicitor jobs have been advertised  internally and externally in
the past 2 years? 4

How many legal jobs have been advertised internally and externally in the
past two years? 10

Also how were the roles advertised? Roles are advertised on the Vale of
Glamorgan website. Also through Linkedin, Indeed and Facebook

Do you use all agencies on the Matrix Order, if not what puts other
agencies above others? All agencies on the Matrix contract are able to
submit candidates to orders that are placed by managers. The manager then
selects the most appropriate agency worker by reviewing the CV's, and
interviewing as necessary.

It is therefore up to the agency to provide the most appropriate CV's for
the orders placed.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
