Dear FOI Requests

Thank you A Anokwuru. Could you please tell me how much Home Office paid in legal costs in 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. I trust that this should be simpler to obtain as the issue around the accounting systems was sorted out in 2010-11.

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Legal costs'.

It should not take the HO over 24 hours of man work to specify the fees or portion of fees paid to Treasury Solicitors for immigration and asylum cases (especially as T-Sol appears to have this information handy!). How incompetent are the HO staff and systems?!

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Legal costs'.

I asked for information on the Home Office spend on legal costs in a particular year. The response I received only referred to the amount paid to Treasury Solicitors. This is a narrower answer to my question - so unless HO is saying their only spend on legal fees was to T-Sol they have deliberately sought to mislead with their response.
