Dear Louis
I write to confirm receipt of your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Given the wording of your question, I thought it would be helpful to clarify a couple of points. Historic Royal Palaces is not a central government department or a NDPB. Historic Royal Palaces is classified as a Public Corporation. It is an independent charity, regulated by the Charity Commission, that receives no funding from government or the crown. We generate all our own funds and rely on the support of visitors, members and donors.

I do hope this is helpful. I would be grateful if, in the light of this information, you could confirm whether you would still like to submit your question.

Dear Rachael,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been on holiday.

I am hoping for all publicly funded bodies so please proceed with my request on the basis that you are on the list of government bodies despite being a charity.

Yours sincerely,

Louis Goddard

Louis

Thank you for your email.  Just to be clear, if my initial response was
not sufficiently so, we do not receive any funding from the government or
the Crown, so we are not publicly funded.  We raise all of our own funds.

We will, of course, respond to your request, but I just wanted to make
that point clear.

Regards

Rachael

Dear Louis,

In response to your request, in which you  clarified below that you are
looking for information from publicly funded bodies, I can confirm that
Historic Royal Palaces does not receive any public funding from the
