Legal / All Types of Consultancy Fees Incurred by LCC In Relation to Loan to EFC

The request was partially successful.

Dear Liverpool City Council,
In relation to the proposed loan for a new stadium [possibly now defunct] by LCC to EFC [Liverpool Football Club], it was stated in the media [and not denied by Mayor Anderson] that LCC spent £709,000 "on all types of consultancy fees."

Mayor Anderson made two public statements:

* Liverpool Echo: 'Mayor Joe Anderson has made clear that Everton will be picking up the bill for those fees - and paying the council back in full.'

* 'He told the ECHO: "Everton Football Club will be picking up the bill - not us.'

In response to these public statements, please supply the following information:
[1] When did Everton Football Club reimburse LCC £709,000 for theses fees ?
[2] If not paid already, please supply the date when EFC will be repaying these fees

PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT ASKING FOR ANY DOCUMENTS, EMAILS, NAMES/ PERSONAL DETAILS OF ANY INDIVIDUALS ETC......JUST A DATE IN RESPONSE TO A PUBLIC STATEMENT MADE BY MAYOR ANDERSON
I RESPECTFULLY ASK FOR THE RESPONSE TO BE SUBMITTED ON TIME

Yours faithfully,

Josie Mullen
