Dear Mr Pitcairn
Thank you for your request for information. You asked for a list of all
leases of shooting rights over Crown Estate land in Wales, indicating the
identity of each lessee, the rent payable and the term of each lease.
I have attached the list as requested. Some of the information relates to
leases to individuals. Some details of these leases has been withheld
under an exemption in section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act as it
constitutes personal information and its release would contravene the data
protection principles.
If you are not satisfied with my response, you may complain or appeal our
decision, which will be investigated through an Internal Review. If you
are not content with the outcome of the Internal Review, you have the
right to refer your complaint directly to the Information Commissioner for
a decision. Please note that the Information Commissioner cannot make a
decision unless you have first exhausted our own complaints procedure.

Dear The Crown Estate,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of The Crown Estate's handling of my FOI request 'leases of shooting rights on Crown Estate in Wales'.
Whilst the information provided by Mr Brazier is no doubt correct, I believe that it is incomplete as it appears to deal solely with the Crown Estate's coastal portfolio and omits reference to any inland properties including the extensive common land holdings.
