Dear Southwark Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Southwark Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Leaseholder pre-Complulsory Purchase buy-backs'.

Southwark Council failed to provide details of transactions later than February 2009, on the grounds that it was not in the public interest. They claimed that the data could prejudice on-going negotiations with leaseholders.

It is clearly to the remaining leaseholders' advantage that they have access to this data. It is also in the public interest that the Council is open and transparent concerning its undertakings.

I am therefore requesting that this case is internally reviewed.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,

A Glasspool
