Leaseholder / council tenant ratio within Lewisham Homes housing estates

Dear Lewisham Homes,

I am currently doing a study into the effects of right to buy on the housing stock owned by Lewisham Homes.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with the following information:

1. Please can you provide the total number of properties split between leaseholder & council tenant in each housing estate, and the individual blocks within the estate? I am happy for this data to be provided in whatever format you have accessible.

I understand that under the Act I am entitled to a response within 20 working days of your receipt of this request. If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

If my request is denied in whole or in part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material. I would prefer to receive the information electronically.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.

Dear Ruebin Martin,

Many thanks for providing the information for my FOI request. However my original request was as follows:

"Please can you provide the total number of properties split between leaseholder & council tenant in each housing estate, and the individual blocks within the estate?"

The information provided is by housing estate, and has not broken down by each block in the estate. I am assuming it would not be too much work to provide the additional detail to my request.

From previous experience I know that some blocks within the estate can have a high proportion of leaseholders, which skews the estate average. I wanted to isolate these outliers from my study if possible.

Good Afternoon Mr Hedge,

Thank you for your patience whilst I attempted to have your request actioned.

Mr Hedge I have to advise I forwarded your additional request to our Performance Team, and the performance manager has advised that your request is not accessible.

I was advised that the information you required is not stored in a consistent format. As can be seen from what we provided, the vast majority of addresses were blocks of under 50 properties, this is the level that the properties are recorded against.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in coming back to you, evidently this was caused by the attempt to gather the request.
