Dear Southwark Borough Council,
Studying the December 2018 lease agreement between Southwark Council and Dulwich Hamlet Football Club for land at Greendale, I can see that the leased area includes a section of pathway that was recently installed by Southwark Council. I note that in Section 3 “Tenant’s Covenants” Clause 4 (g) requires that the tenant ensures this footpath within their demise is kept safe, usable, unobstructed and open for public access. However, Clause 7 (f) contains provisions under which alterations can be made to the footpath. What was Southwark Council's intention by the inclusion of Clause 7 (f) in the lease?
