Dear Mr Creissen

I am writing further to your request for information regarding learning outcomes for medical students. A search of our electronic and paper records has been completed and I can confirm that the information requested is held by the University.

In answer to your request:

I would like to request all 'Learning Outcomes' or structured learning objectives given to medical students in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (and 6 where applicable).

This may be limited to a handbook or may be structured pdf documents that are given for each module, where applicable both are requested.

Information in relation to learning outcomes is considered exempt under section 21(1) of the Freedom of Information Act because it is already published on our course specification webpages:

https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/medicine/st...

The learning outcomes for the A100 Medicine course can be viewed in section D of the document.

If you are unhappy with the way in which your request has been handled and wish to request a review of our response or to make a complaint, please see the attached information sheet and form.

Dear University of Nottingham,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of University of Nottingham's handling of my FOI request 'Learning outcomes for all stages of MBBS Degree'.

Your internal review officer may wish to view the following documentation; the same request made to all UK medical schools, a significant number of which have been successful, the others are currently undergoing internal review.

These can be viewed using the following links or by accessing my 'profile' on Whatdotheyknow.com

We have made the same request to every UK medical school. Here are a number of positive responses for your internal review team to assess;

I don't believe this information to be commercially sensitive, nor to impact on the regular running operations of the medical school were it to be released. It is released every year to hundreds of students without a proviso, nor is it reclaimed from students who are expelled, suspended or otherwise taken out of their studies at Liverpool.

I appreciate you taking the time to undertake this review, I will be passing this in due course to the ICO if it is unsuccessful as I don't believe the University has met its obligation; the information does not appear a trade secret and as such the university is obligated to release it.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Yours faithfully,

Adam Creissen
