Samantha Fernandez

Dear Inspiration Trust,

Please would you outline what Leadership Development programmes you have offered at your Academy Trust and what money has been spent on these over the last 3 years.

As such, would you document each supplier you contracted to deliver these programmes and the total sum paid to each suppliers for their services.

Where possible, would you also be able to provide me with the number of Headteacher positions you have recruited for over the last 3 years and the money you have spent on recruiting these Headteachers. Once again, it would be great if you outline what agencies or publications you used to advertise these and breakdown the costs per organisation you contracted.

Yours faithfully,

Samantha Fernandez

Dear Ms Fernandez,
I have now considered your request. I have responded to each element of
your request in turn below.
1. Leadership development programmes offered and money spent on these over
the last 3 years.
I can confirm that the Inspiration Trust does hold the information
requested,
The Trust has offered development programmes in partnership with Cranfield
University, and Martin Clarke Associates. These have included the
Cranfield Advanced Management Programme and bespoke courses and training
workshops.
2. Each supplier you contracted and the total sum paid to each suppliers
for their services.
I can confirm that the Inspiration Trust does hold the information
requested,  Over the past three years, sums paid total:

* Cranfield Management Development & Conference Centre: £66,155.38
* Martin Clarke Associates: £30,273.12

3. The number of Headteacher positions you have recruited for over the
last 3 years and the money you have spent on recruiting these
Headteachers, and what agencies or publications were used to advertise
these and breakdown the costs per organisation.
I can confirm that the Inspiration Trust holds some but not all of the
information requested.
In most cases advertising for the roles specified is part of an overall
package agreement or has been invoiced alongside other roles. This means
it has not been possible retrospectively to segment spending purely on
headteacher positions in most cases.
Over the past three years we have appointed to twelve headteacher
positions.
Positions are recruited through a number of routes, including the Trust
website, social media, TES website, Schools Week print and website, Jobs24
website, the Guardian website, and Educator Solutions / Norfolk County
Council website. Not all roles were advertised on all the platforms
listed.
We have been able to segment spend In regards to TES, where spend solely
on headteacher positions in the last three years was £4,222.80.
I trust this satisfies your request. If you are unhappy with the response
provided, you may ask for an internal review. To request an internal
review, please write to: Head of Governance, Inspiration Trust. 28 Bethel
Street, Norwich, NR2 1NR giving the reasons for your dissatisfaction.
