Leadership Development + Headteacher Recruitment
Dear Academy Transformation Trust,
Please would you outline what Leadership Development programmes you have offered at your Academy Trust and what money has been spent on these over the last 3 years.
As such, would you document each supplier you contracted to deliver these programmes and the total sum paid to each suppliers for their services.
Where possible, would you also be able to provide me with the number of Headteacher positions you have recruited for over the last 3 years and the money you have spent on recruiting these Headteachers. Once again, it would be great if you outline what agencies or publications you used to advertise these and breakdown the costs per organisation you contracted.

Leadership Development Programmes
National Professional Qualification Headship – 2 attendees
National Professional Qualification Executive Leadership – 5 attendees
Both of the above fully funded through Teaching and Learning Innovation Fund
PiXL Outstanding Headteachers Programme – 1 attendee, cost £2,000
In addition we run in-house leadership development opportunities through a number of forums focussing on areas such as Safeguarding, English, Mathematics, Science, MFL, SEND. The most pertinent to your FOI request would be the Principals forum which has been held 13 times over the three year period. All related costs are covered through the Trust partnership fee.
Headship recruitment over the last 3 years
Over a three year period there have had 17 Principal/Head of School vacancies that have been recruited. The total cost of recruitment has been £16,057.90. Those with costs incurred were advertised in the Times Education Supplement (TES). TES packages sometimes included the role being shared via other channels such as social media and TES partners.
