Leadership Development + Headteacher Recruitment

Samantha Fernandez made this Freedom of Information request to Harris Federation

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

We're waiting for Samantha Fernandez to read recent responses and update the status.

Samantha Fernandez

Dear Harris Federation.

Please would you outline what Leadership Development programmes you have offered at your Academy Trust and what money has been spent on these over the last 3 years.

As such, would you document each supplier you contracted to deliver these programmes and the total sum paid to each suppliers for their services.

Where possible, would you also be able to provide me with the number of Headteacher positions you have recruited for over the last 3 years and the money you have spent on recruiting these Headteachers. Once again, it would be great if you outline what agencies or publications you used to advertise these and breakdown the costs per organisation you contracted.

Yours faithfully,

Samantha Fernandez

Samantha Fernandez

Dear Harris Federation,

I am still awaiting a response on this. I had expected to (by law) receive a response by the 26th July - however this has not happened.

At the earliest opportunity, would you be able to provide me with an indication as to when I should expect to receive this information from your trust.

Yours faithfully,

Samantha Fernandez

Paul Tunnicliffe (HF), Harris Federation

Dear Samantha (if I may)

I acknowledge receipt of your Freedom of Information request, and have
noted the content therein.  In relation to the deadline to respond to this
request, I would like to draw your attention to "The Freedom of
Information (Time for Compliance with Request) Regulations 2010", which

                Proprietors of Academies

                2.—        (1)          This regulation applies to a
request for information that is received by the proprietor of an Academy.

                                (2)          Where this regulation
applies, subsections (1) and (2) of section 10 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 have effect as if any reference to the twentieth
working day following the date of receipt were a reference to either—

                                                (a)          the twentieth
working day following the date of receipt, disregarding any working day
which, in relation to the Academy referred to in paragraph (1), is not a
school day, or

                                                (b)          the sixtieth
working day following the date of receipt,

                                                whichever occurs first.

                                (3)          “School day”, for the
purposes of this regulation, has the same meaning as in section 579(1) of
the Education Act 1996.

On this basis we have 60 working days to comply with the request, which
given that the request was submitted on 27th June 2018, the deadline
should be 18 September 2018.
