(Intention to Tender) document for LBSL, including full current
vehicle specification requirements.

I would also like to request a hard copy of all recordings made on
the iBus system, by post if necessary.

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 May
2012 asking for the most current version of the Master ITT document for
LBSL and iBus recordings.

 

Your request will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the
Freedom of Information Act and TfL’s information access policy. 

 

I would be grateful if you could clarify what you mean by ‘a hard copy of
all recordings made on the iBus system’.  Are you requesting a copy of the
actual audio recordings or a copy of the scripts which list what the
announcements say?

 

If you are asking for a copy of the audio recordings, these will be
provided on CD and we will need a postal address to send them to you.

 

Our response will be provided to you by 1 June 2012.

 

In the meantime, if you would like to discuss this matter further, please

LBSL and iBus recordings. I am sorry for the delay in replying.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and TfL’s information access policy. I can confirm
that TfL does hold the information you require.

 

However, we do not hold a Master ITT (Intention to Tender) document – to
explain, once tenderers have been accepted through the pre-qualification
procedure they agree to a comprehensive set of basic regulations regarding
all tenders, then receive the individual tender documents for each route
which they wish to tender for . Please find attached some sample
Invitations to Tender for your information. These are obtained by
responding to an Expression of Interest which is sent to all prequalified
tenderers in line with the dates shown in the Tendering Programme. Further
information about the Tendering Programme may be found on our website
[1]http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/businessandpar...  

 

Please also find attached details of the vehicle specification
requirements.

 

Finally the CD containing the iBus announcements has been posted to you
today and should therefore be with you shortly.
