Lawrence Sheriff SSEF
Dear Warwickshire County Council,
The DfE explain https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio... that the published admissions number (PAN) for Lawrence Sheriff School increased to 150 this year with 20 places being allocated to disadvantaged children (those eligible for Pupil Premium or Service Premium funding.)
Please could you provide the following information
1. How many children in total started in Y7 this September? (I ask because this may be greater than the PAN of 150 if there are successful appeals)
2. Of the total finally admitted in Y7 this September, how many of these qualify for Pupil Premium or Service Premium funding?
3. Are there any reasons why responses 1&2 may not be accurate?
The reason for the third question is to understand if you do not have the full and accurate information. For example, the school may admit children directly bypassing the council (this is speculative as I don't understand the process) or the information you hold about pupil premium funding might be provisional. I'm really just trying to understand whether and to what extent the response might be less than definitive.
thanks very much for your help
best wishes.
James Coombs
