Dear Vivek

Thank you for submitting an FOI request, requesting information from the
University of Warwick. In order to comply with your request, we would be
grateful if you could please clarify the following:

o When you refer to the number of offers given, please can you clarify
whether this means the numbers of offers accepted by applicants – i.e.
offer holders or the number of applicants accepted by the University –
i.e. those students who actually enrolled on the course? There is a
distinction because some offer holders may never enrol on the course.

Please be advised that the University will be unable to proceed with your
request until you have provided the requested clarifications and the 20
working day statutory time limit does not begin until clarification has
been received. Should we not receive a reply to this email, your request
will be closed in 20 working days.

Kind Regards

our understanding is correct.

Please be advised that the University will be unable to proceed with your

Dear Vivek

Thank you for your email. Before we can proceed with your request, please
are you able to further clarify the following:

o We note that you are looking for this data for the years 2019, 2020
and 2021. Please can you confirm that you want us to look at the
admissions cycles for entry into academic years 2019/20 and 2020/21?
Please note that the University is unable to provide admissions data
for applicants for entry onto courses starting in the 2021/22 academic
year as the current admissions cycle is not yet complete. The
University will not be in a position to provide this until after the
enrolment data is available for the 2021/22 academic year for the
various cohorts of students which is usually at the end of October
(31st) in each given year.
o In relation to question 6, please note that the University does not
require the LNAT to be completed by students prior to attending.
Therefore, LNAT scores are not recorded.
o In relation to question 7, please can you specify exactly what is
meant by “places”?
o Please confirm that you are referring to the three-year LLB Law
programme.

Please also note that, in relation to Questions 3,4 and 5, information
regarding exam results, predicted or final, is held individually for each
applicant within the University’s systems. The University’s admission team
does not have the software or the expertise to collate exam performance
into the requested groupings (i.e predicted grades of AAA and AAB). Each
qualification for an applicant is presented as a single entry, therefore,
to determine what A-level subjects the applicants took / the grades
attained it would be necessary to conduct a manual search of each line for
each applicant to ascertain each grade, which the University estimates
would exceed the cost limit.

Please be advised that the University will be unable to proceed with your
request until you have provided the requested clarifications and the 20
working day statutory time limit does not begin until clarification has
been received. Should we not receive a reply to this email, your request
will be closed in 20 working days.

Kind Regards
