Hi,

When you say that you received 26 applications 'through the system', what exactly do you mean? Would it be possible by the time the person has gone through UCAS, i.e. through the system, they've already been told on the phone they've got a place?

Thank you for your kind attention.

Dear George,

Please find below response to your query from the data holders

The “system” that we are referring to is our application system. In
Clearing the applicant deals with the university directly and doesn’t go
through UCAS initially.

I hope this has answered the query you raised.

Hi,

I don't think that your response was clear. To put it simply, does the 'Exeter application system' include phone calls? So, when a candidate calls the university to discuss whether they should put it on their Clearing application form, does this count as an application? Or are you only including the applications you received through Clearing?

George

Hello George,

The Exeter Application system does not include phone calls and only the applications that we received through clearing are included.

I hope this has answered your query.
