Dear Medical Research Council,

Can you please provide information on your current supplier of Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), Unified Communication, Telephony, Contact Centre, PBX, Mobile, Calls & Lines along with their respective contract start/ expiry dates, annual & total contract value and contract description?

Also if your existing contract is going to expire/or already expired, then what are the replacement/extension plans?

Dear Sukant,

Medical Research Council (MRC) Reference: FOIA 2015-040

Thank you for your request.

I have discussed your request with our IT Service Delivery Manager, who
has confirmed that we do not hold a central record of the information that
you have requested for these seven areas.  As the MRC operates over a
number of different sites and as much of the information you have
requested would be held on-site to identify, locate and retrieve the
requested information would exceed the appropriate limit as laid out in
Section 12 of the FOIA. As the MRC is a Non-Departmental Public Body this
limit is £450 or 18 hours. At the time of your request our sites include
our head office, split between London and Swindon, and 13 research sites.

Further information on this can be found at:
[1]https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...
and information on MRC sites and locations can be found at:
[2]http://www.mrc.ac.uk/about/institutes-un...

It may be possible to bring your request for information into scope either
by reducing the number of sites that you are interested in or the number
of areas that you are asking for information on.  Alternatively, if you
would like to give me some more background on what you are looking for I
can investigate whether there are any alternative routes that can be taken
to get this information.

I look forward to hearing from you about the direction you would like to
take with your request.

Yours sincerely,
