Late night skipping of Bethnal Green
Dear Transport for London,
Network Rail said that there are no reasons why late night services skipping Bethnal Green.
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...
Whereas at the time of my prior FOI the 00:48 and 01:03 London Overground trains from Liverpool Street to Chingford skipoed Bethnal Green Station Monday to Saturday with Bethnal Green being skipped by the 01:03 train on Sundays, this situation has been improved with Bethnal Green being skipped 00:48 and 01:03 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only now.

Please advise why Bethnal Green is skipped Tuesdays and Wednesdays only and whether there is any plan to secure that Bethnal Green is served in these slots.
Yours faithfully,
Yours faithfully,
Philip Ridley

Dear Philip Ridley
TfL Ref: FOI-4329-2324
Thank you for your request which we received on 21 February 2024, asking
about London Overground late-night trains not stopping in Bethnal Green.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can
confirm that we hold the information you require.
Network Rail requires engineering access on the suburban lines on Monday
and Tuesday nights, which means we cannot call at Bethnal Green station on
these nights as there are no platform faces on the fast lines.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to

TfL RESTRICTED
Dear FOI,
This is not the information I require. I'm asking for records of these slots being utilised by Network Rail over the past 12 months and any reason why any works carried out at these times cannot be carried out a half hour later once the last Chingford train has left Bethnal Green.
Yours sincerely,
Philip Ridley
Dear FOI,
I have made this request now with Network Rail
