LA's and leaseholders
Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,
What are you going to do to stop councils removing grant funding which leaseholders qualify for?
With more localism being wanted what measures are you going to enshrine in law to prevent councils from removing funding from leaseholders?
Where councils access grant funding for leaseholders property what are you going to enshrine in law to ensure that funding can be traced by ordinary people?
How can leaseholders check what carbon savings have been claimed for their property by councils?
What are you going to do to ensure leaseholders can easily see if a council has claimed the £1,500 p.a. until 2015 back via tax for insulation measures which leaseholders have 100% paid for?
Are you going to address the anomalies leaseholders face where councils can force them into unaffordable debt for facelifts to their homes passed off as repairs/improvements etc?
Yours faithfully,
Cheryl Ladding
