Landlord license fee discounts
Dear Brent Borough Council,
This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would like to request information about licenses for letting property.
As I understand, landlords can apply for a discount on some property license fees if they are accredited members of certain landlord associations or organisations.
Please could you provide me for the financial years 2017, 2018 and 2019:
– The total sum the council discounted from letting license fees for landlords who are a member of a landlord organisation.
– The total number of landlords who claimed this discount.
– A breakdown of which organisations those who claimed are members of. (If you do not record this information, please disregard.)
I would like to receive the information in a table.
If you feel that a substantive response to this request is not possible within a reasonable time frame, or the request is too broad, I would be grateful if you could contact me by telephone (07854756207) and provide assistance as to how I could refine the request.
Yours faithfully,
Adam Bychawski
