Hi Reg 13

Progress is continuing with the footpath, which is part of a project of improvement from Bramerton Common to the Ferry Inn. I understand the processes of regulatory applications (such as habitats) and legal highway boundary checks is nearly complete.

The area of poor boardwalk to the east of the gun club is a priority in the programme and has
funding for the financial year 2019/20 (ie from 1 April onwards).

I have asked the legal highways boundary team for a plan of the highway boundary between the RSPB and the Ferry Inn along the river, and I should hopefully be able to send you this shortly.
Once the boundary has been digitised it will be online for anyone to see and I will send you a
link.

Kind regards

Reg 13

Dear Asbridge

Environmental Information Regulations Request ENQ-362039-K5W1K7

I refer to your request for information dated 8 September 2019.

You asked :

Please detail exactly what the involvement of the LANDFILL STRATEGY
MANAGER, CLOSED LANDFILL is in the riverside footpath at Surlingham Ferry
Inn and the RSPB?

Our response:

The team working on this footpath are multi-disciplined and the Landfill
Strategy Manager was involved initially due to the construction work
identified. As this project developed it was determined that further work
was required concerning the location of the boardwalk and the Landfill
Strategy Manager no longer has any involvement.
