Land to North of Noke Cottages, Staunton on Arrow Land Registry Reference HE41614

The request was successful.

Dear Environment Agency,

I believe this land was given over to the then River Board by the lady owner as she could not afford the upkeep of the two weirs. So sometime between 1950 and 1965 maybe? I think the river bed was retained when the Staunton Park Estate was split up and sold, suggesting she might have also owned the river bed and it might have been included along with the weirs in the transfer.
Q1 ~ Does the Environment Agency own the River Bed between the weirs?
Q2 ~ Does the Environment Agency own the River Bed upstream (West) of the weirs between the weir and the Gig Bridge over the river?

2) The Title Deeds Refer to possible various Estate Contracts, Restrictive Covenants, and Equitable Easements on the Charges Register along with Creation of Interests, Rights and Liabilities.
Q3 ~ please can I have details of these, I am particularly interested in anything specific to weir maintenance as I am led to believe this is why the weir ownership was transferred to the then River Authority

Yours faithfully,

Primrose Jones

Dear Enquiries, Unit,

Reference: 190814/KG16

Please can you advise me why you are not answering the questions in my request but repeatedly send response to a different request.

I have responded and asked for this request to be answered FOUR times now and repeated the questions just to make things easier - I fail to see what the issue is.

Yours sincerely,

Primrose Jones
