As the request is not very specific we have listed the details of the
transactions below.

 

Oak House

Details: Assignment of lease of Tut N Shive between Ac Development North
Ltd and Whitbread West Pennines Limited dated 25 February 1983 from
Whitbread West Pennines Limited to Chorley Borough Council on 5 February
2016. £700,000.00 reverse premium paid to Chorley Borough Council.  

Officers involved: Property Services Manager, Solicitor, and Financial
Accountants

Private companies connected to this deal: Whitbread West Pennines Limited

 

 

Royal Oak Hotel

Details:

Assignment of the below leases from Northern Trust Company Limited to
Chorley Borough Council dated 31 March2017

o Lease  of 7,9 and 11 Market Street, Chorley between Chorley
Corporation and Oden (Chorley) Limited dated 6 April 1938

Lease of Royal Oak House between The Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of the
borough of Chorley and Chester’s Brewery dated 14 March 1939

 

For the sum of £2,050,000.00 (Two million and fifty thousand pounds) the
purchase was funded by the proceeds of sale of Council owned land at
Southport Road.

 

Officers involved: Estates Surveyor, Assistant Estates Surveyor, Technical
Property Services Technical Support, Senior Paralegal, Financial
Accountants  -  Officers worked under direction of Head of Legal,
Democratic and HR Services

Private companies connected to this deal: Northern Trust Company Limited
