Please provide details of land, property or leaseholds purchased by Carmarthenshire council from January 2014 to date.
I would be grateful for a full breakdown containing as much of the following information as possible:
Amount paid by the council for each site
Location and size of each site
Purpose of the purchase
Identity of vendor
Legal/valuation/conveyancing costs
Please include and specify all land or property purchased under Compulsory Purchase Orders and the associated legal costs.

February, 2018 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000.
The specific information you requested was as follows:
“Please provide details of land, property or leaseholds purchased by

In response, please find attached a file containing the relevant
information held by the Council. Legal costs are not available.
The information we hold regarding vendors is being withheld on the basis
that it is already accessible via the HM Land Registry.

not obliged to provide information which is already reasonably accessible
to the applicant by other means, which in this case is via the Land
Registry as set out above.

I refer to your email of 2nd March, 2018 following our response to your
request on the same date. Please accept my apologies for the delay in
providing this further response.
You queried why legal costs had been omitted from our reply to your
request.
I apologise for this. Internal legal costs are held by our Legal services
team but were not recorded against the records of transactions held by our
Property services. We have now cross referenced these records where held
and are able to supply the attached information.
