Dear North Somerset Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of North Somerset Council's handling of my FOI request 'Land at the Green Open Space at BS21 6YG'.

I wrote "I would like to receive details indicating how, when & at what cost the land originally came into the ownership of NSC enabling NSC to be able to build on the whole parcel of land with respect to the Decision listed above"

I expected to receive ALL details of the WHOLE of the land in question.

Clearly, my question relates to the same land referred within https://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/sites/defa...

I am also aware of other land which needed to be transferred from the ownership of Alliance Homes to NSC

Please provide the information as originally requested promptly and deal with the matter in accordance with FOI regulations.

Kindly acknowledge receipt of this request.

Thank you

Yours faithfully,

R Tozer

North Somerset Council

Dear Mr Tozer,

Following your request for an internal review we have modified our
response.

Your request:

I would like to receive details indicating how, when & at what cost the
land originally came into the ownership of NSC enabling NSC to be able to
build on the whole parcel of land with respect to the Decision listed
above

Our response:

The land originally came into the possession of Woodspring District
Council in January 1981 at the cost of £1 in a conveyance from L Williams
& Co Ltd.

The agreements with Alliance Homes have been completed and are in the
process of being registered in the Land Registry. The land with Persimmon,
we are awaiting the exchange of documents, there was a minor amendment to
the plan due to a feed back from the Land Registry. Exchange is expected
shortly, which will then be followed up with the Land Registry.

The land from Alliance we purchased for £1. We are paying Persimmon
£75,000 , as per Director decision CY05 which you have seen.

I hope we have now provided the information you have requested.

Kind regards, Victoria
