1. The owner of the Rogerstone / Rhiwderin footbridge at the southern end of PROW 406/ 58/1 before NCC adopted it and details of that adoption

2. The 1957 Planning Application submitted by the Ministry of Aviation for the Northern Aluminium Co. works expansion in Rogerstone during 1958 - 1964

3. Deeds to title WA387183 showing who NCC purchased the land from in 1987 and the 2 June 1948 plan of De Havilland / Noral land exchange that enabled NCC to purchase this land in the first instance

Thank you for your recent request for information which I have enclosed
below for ease of reference. Your request has been treated in accordance
with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and/or the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004.

Your Request : REQ13078

I can confirm that we do not hold information that falls within the scope
of your request. The answers to your questions have been provided in red
text below.

1. The owner of the Rogerstone / Rhiwderin footbridge at the southern end
of PROW 406/ 58/1 before NCC adopted it and details of that adoption. 

This information is not held by Newport City Council.  Any detail we do
hold relating to the adoption would be in the documents viewed on 2^nd
September.

 

2. The 1957 Planning Application submitted by the Ministry of Aviation for
the Northern Aluminium Co. works expansion in Rogerstone during 1958 –
1964 

This planning application is no longer held. Our planning records only
date back to 1974.

 

3. Deeds to title WA387183 showing who NCC purchased the land from in 1987
and the 2 June 1948 plan of De Havilland / Noral land exchange that
enabled NCC to purchase this land in the first instance.  This information
is not recorded.  Please note that the Freedom of Information Act requires
public authorities to provide recorded information held by an
organisation.  As such, the council is not obliged to provide information
that is not recorded or to give an opinion or judgement.

NCC have undergone a registration exercise with HM Land Registry, and all
relevant documents relating to land in our ownership were provided to HM
Land Registry for registration and are now public documents available from
HM Land Registry, so the information you require may be held by them.

If there is any further information that we can provide, please submit a
further request. If you have any queries about this email or if you are
unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and
wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, please
