Please refer to:

Is the land marked in red in the photograph "relevant land" for the purposes of S86(7) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 of either Transport for London or London Underground Ltd?

Peter Silverman

Dear Transport for London,

Your response is overdue.

Could you please action.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Silverman

Dear Mr Silverman

Thank you for your email. I am sorry that you have not received a response to your original request.

As this was a 'business as usual' question, rather than a request for recorded information which would have been handled as a formal Freedom of Information request, we passed your original email to our Customer Services to respond.

I have contacted them again today and asked that they respond to your enquiry as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Graham Hurt

Dear Mr Hunt,

Thank you for getting back to me.

My understanding is that if the land is operational land i.e is an embankment, cutting, siding, within 100 metres of a railway station platform and if an interets is held in it for that purpose it will be relevant land.

This information would be documented in the form of maps or descriptions of land in title deeds / leases etc.

Could you please reconsider your designation of my request as a "business as usual" enquiry and treat it as a request under the Environmental Information Regulations for recorded data.

Please let me know what you decide.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Silverman

Dear Mr Silverman

TfL Ref:  FOI-2163-1213

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13
March 2013 asking for information about land adjacent to Ruislip
Underground Station.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the
Environmental Information Regulations and TfL’s information access policy.
I can confirm that TfL does hold the information you require. You asked if
the land adjacent to Ruislip Underground Station is "relevant land" for
the purposes of S86(7) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 of

either Transport for London or London Underground Ltd.

The land you refer to does not fall within the ownership TfL or London
Underground Limited.  Having researched further this land appears to be
owned by London Borough of Hillingdon and forms part of land transferred
from The London Transport Board to The County Council of the
Administrative County of Middlesex on 28 August 1964 as part of a road
widening scheme.

If this is not the information you are looking for please do not hesitate
to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached
information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely

Graham Hurt
