Land Acquired from the LDDC

Ralph Hardwick made this Freedom of Information request to Tower Hamlets Borough Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Tower Hamlets Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,

When the LDDC was dissolved in 1998 land that was in their possession was passed to the local authority.

Newcastle Draw Dock on the Isle of Dogs was passed to Tower Hamlets, having had a significant refurbishment in 1995/1996 under an application TH12591.

Was the whole ownership of Newcastle Draw Dock from mean high water to Saunders Ness Road, passed to Tower Hamlets?

What records does Tower Hamlets hold of Newcastle Draw Dock passing to the local authority?

Yours faithfully,

Ralph Hardwick
