Lack of care from my local MP Florence Eshalomi

We're waiting for Caroline Scully to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman,

I have been trying to get some assistance from my local MP & I am being totally ignored, this mp spends all day tweeting yet cannot respond to pleas from desperate constituents seeking her help & advice, I asked her Twitter if she would be responding to my Email to be blocked by this MP highly unprofessional especially when people are in crisis.

I was under the understanding that local mps
We’re to serve and support the people in their constituency & not abandon them in a time of need.

I have sent over 10 emails since Jan/Feb all of which have been ignored except my second one where I copied Mr Corbyn into I believe her PA replied & nothing since

This has had a major impact on my mental health and at times has left me feeling suicidal I hope Florence is pleased with impacting people’s lives so badly.
Any assistance would be greatly received

Yours faithfully,

Caroline Scully

Here is something I have previously written that you may find of interest, though it is unlikely to be helpful, I'm afraid:

'Regarding complaints against MPs, the PHSO website includes this:

"Unfortunately we can’t look into complaints about MPs, unless they are government ministers carrying out the administrative work of their departments.

The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards can consider complaints about breaches of the Code of Conduct or the Guide to the Rules for MPs.

For other complaints about MPs, please contact the chair of their political party.

If you are still not sure if we investigate it, please ring us on 0345 015 4033 to discuss your case."

Some info. from current PHSO Guidance:

https://www.ombudsman.org.uk/sites/defau...

"2.26 In circumstances where a complainant’s own MP will not refer the complaint, you should NOT direct them to contact the Chair of PACAC (see above).

2.27 We are not able to require an MP to refer a complaint and nor should we act on a complainant’s behalf to try and get an MP to make a referral. If a complainant wants to try and find another MP to support the referral, then we can provide them with contact details for the House of Commons. However, we should tell them that MPs will not normally act on behalf of another MP’s constituent.
