Thank you for your e-mail dated 28th June 2010 received in our office on
29th June 2010, concerning KSI figures on roads controlled by Swindon
Borough Council.

I enclose for your attention, the following information.

Target figure for all KSI in the 12 months leading up to 31st December
2009 = 57

Actual figure for all KSI in the 12 months leading up to 31st December
2009 = 79

Target figure for all KSI in the 12 months leading up to 31st December
2010 = 57

Actual figures for all KSI between 1st January 2010 and 30th April 2010 =
21

N.B. The Promise 50a period finished on 31st March 2010. However Swindon
Borough Council are continuing to measure our performance as KSI's are a
National Indicator. Figures are reported by Swindon Borough Council to
Central Government.
