Dear Mr Mullett

Further to your request for information please see the response below. The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust acquired Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust on 1 July 2014. This response covers all sites managed by the trust.

Your question

Could you please supply the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and user satisfaction surveys for Pathology Services for the last 5 years.

The response

The trust's pathology services are currently managed separately. The pathology service for the Royal Free Hospital is provided as part of a joint venture by Health Services Laboratories (HSL) which is a partnership between the Royal Free London (RFL), UCLH and The Doctors Laboratory (TDL). Services at Barnet Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital continue to be provided by an in house pathology service.

I enclose user satisfaction surveys for both the Royal Free and Barnet and Chase Farm services.

Your appeal rights

We hope that you will be satisfied with our response to your request, if not you may ask us to review our decision in which case you should write to Ms Emma Kearney, director of corporate affairs and communications, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Pond Street, London NW3 2QG, explaining what you would like us to review and including your reference number. If you are not satisfied with the internal review, you can appeal to the Information Commissioner. The contact details are: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 01625 545 700 or see www.ico.org.uk

Yours sincerely
