Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am writing to respectfully request the following information:

i) Can you please confirm the number of 'knife bins' in the Blackpool constituencies.
ii) Can you please confirm the locations of the 'knife bins' in the Blackpool constituencies.
iii) Can you please confirm the dates which each 'knife bin' was installed.
iv) Can you please confirm how many items have been recovered from each of the individual 'knife bins' in the Blackpool constituencies.
v) How regularly do the 'knife bins' get checked.

Thank you for your update. However, I am sure there are more than two 'knife bins' in the Blackpool constituencies therefore. would you please take another look, as I remember that Amazing Graze on Bolton Street was provide with a knife bin.

Thank you for your further email below with regards to our response.

I have checked this answer again with Community Safety and they in turn, have contacted the Knife Crime Lead Police Officer. They have confirmed that there are only 2 knife bins, in the places we have stated in our original response. There was one at Amazing Graze but this has been removed.

I trust that this further clarifies our response.

I have discussed your email below with Community Safety and they have in turn made further enquiries with the Police, this time with the Violence Reduction Network, who confirmed that there are four knife bins.

These are located -
1 Blackpool Boys & Girls club Mereside
1 Grasmere Rd Revoe
1 Egerton Rd Claremont
1 The Grange
