Which software applications (and versions) are you running for:
o Finance/ERP?
o Procurement?

o How many users of the above systems are you licensed for?
o Are any of the above applications Cloud based? If so, which?
o When was your last Finance / ERP application upgrade?
o Do you have an application support partner for any of the above applications, if so who?

o How much do you pay annually for application Support & Maintenance and when does it renew?

I am writing with regard to your Freedom of Information request on 5 July 2018 that was received by NHS Health Scotland the same day, in which you ask for the following:

“1. What is the total number of employees in your organisation?

NHS Health Scotland can provide a full response to your request, as below:
1.298 employees
2.Not applicable as NHS Health Scotland is a public body
3.Not applicable as subcontractors are outsourced
4.Andrew Patience is our Head of Finance and Procurement and his email is [email address]
5.Please see 4 above
6.Jim Carruth is Head of People and Improvement and his email is [email address]
7.Not applicable as payroll is outsourced to NHS Ayrshire and Arran
8.We are running eFinancials V5 for Finance/ERP, PECOS V15.2 for Procurement and Oracle E-Business Suite HR V12.1.3 for HR. We do not run an application for Payroll as this is outsourced to NHS Ayrshire and Arran and CRM is not applicable.
9.eFinancials is licensed for 5 users, PECOS for 298 users and Oracle E-Business Suite HR for 298 users.
10.None of these applications are Cloud based.
11.Our last eFinancials upgrade was in 2017.
12.These systems are provided nationally for NHS Boards including Health Scotland, and are managed externally by central support teams.
13.As above, licence support is managed externally.
14.As above, support and maintenance is managed externally.
15.We do not work with off-shore partners.
16.We do not work with systems integration partners.
I trust that this answers your query. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our response, you do have the right to ask the Chief Executive to review our response. You should do this within 40 working days of receipt of this letter and in a recordable format (letter, email, audio tape etc). The Chief Executive will consider your query, consulting with others as necessary, and will respond to you within 20 working days.
