Dear Kent County Council,

You suggested I resubmitted a request when the academic year 2015/16 data was available, so I'm repeating this now. :)

Could you let me know for this academic year 15/16 cohort of year 11 transfers to year 12:

How many high school pupils stayed in their school to continue at sixth form
How many high school pupils moved to selective school sixth forms
How many high school pupils left for FE college or training elsewhere

Could you also let me know how many of each category were pupil premium children.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Joanne Bartley

Kent County Council

Dear Ms Bartley

Further to our acknowledgement email of 6th June 2016, I write to advise
you that Kent County Council requires clarification of your request.

How many high school pupils stayed in their school to continue at sixth
form?

Do you mean stayed in the same school or stayed in the same type of
school? Do you mean just high schools or all non-selective schools?

How many high school pupils left for FE college or training elsewhere?

Again is this just for high schools or all non-selective schools?

How many of each category were pupil premium children?

Is data required just on the Free School Meal pupil premium element or on
all pupil premium students (service children and children in care as well
as FSM)?

The 20 working day timescale for providing the information you have
requested will be suspended until we receive clarification from you. On
receipt of the clarification we will inform you of the new latest complete
by date.

We look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Kind regards

Hi Laura,

Sorry, I see that was confusing. The information I need is:

How many non-selective school pupils go to selective school (grammar school) for 6th form.

How many pupils in non-selective schools continue education in 6th forms at non-selective schools. (Doesn't have to be the same school.)

How many children in non-selective schools left for college or training.

Pupil premium can be in the broadest sense, eligible for FSM in last 6 years, children in care, service child premium.

The purpose is a study of academic pathways for non-selective school children at 16. I hope this is possible, and I will be grateful for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Joanne Bartley
