Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23
May 2019 asking for information about Kensington (Olympia) special
exhibition services.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can
confirm that we hold the information you require.  You asked for:

1) A list of all dates on which the special weekday exhibition service to
Kensington (Olympia) has been operated.

2) A list of all future dates on which the special weekday exhibition
service to Kensington (Olympia) is scheduled to operate.

Please see attached a document containing the dates of the rail
replacement bus service operated from January 2018 to date and planned
future services up to 26^th July 2019 to answer parts 1 and 2 of your
request.  Please note that in the period you have asked about no weekday
exhibition train service has operated, only the Rail Replacement Bus
Service.

Please also find attached a generic 4 bus per hour (bph) and an 8 bus per
hour (bph) summary of bus service along with the Notices which answers
part 3 of your request.

Part 4 is answered by our responses to parts 1, 2 & 3.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data
Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by
section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal
data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first
principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and
lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when
the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not
satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.

Please note that rail replacement arrangements can be subject to minor
changes and the documents provided were what we planned from the outset of
being advised of the tube/rail closures.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to

Dear FOI,

Thank you for your reply and the documents attached. I have a follow-up question in regards to the scope of the documents.

Am I correct in assuming that your response discusses only the years 2018 till current because my original request would significantly exceed the cost limit to provide a response?

Yours sincerely,

Anner van Hardenbroek

Dear Transport for London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Transport for London's handling of my FOI request 'Kensington (Olympia) special exhibition services'.

I have requested clarification but not received any response yet. The response provided also seems to be wrong as a special weekday service on Friday 27 May 2019 has been found in the Journey Planner on the TfL website. This special service concurs with an event in the Olympia exhibition centre.

Please provide clarification/explanation on the matter raised above as well.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/k...

Yours faithfully,

FOI, Transport for London

Dear Anner van Hardenbroek

I am contacting you in response to your follow up enquiry to FOI-0559-1920.

To clarify, as there were no advised date ranges in your original request of 23 May 2019 the information that was provided was what the business team held that was readily available.

The FOI Case Management Team should have clarified with you in the first instance regarding the time period you wished your request to cover, please accept my apologies that this was not done when your request was first received.

If you wish for data other than what was provided, you are more than welcome to submit a new FOI request specifying the exact information you require and the time period it should cover. Please bear in mind that the more wide ranging a time period covers this could exceed the 18 hour cost limit to identify, locate and extract the data you seek.

Yours sincerely

Dear FOI,

Thank you for replying, apologies accepted.

I do like a response though on the question I raised in my follow up message in regards to my findings in the Journey Planner for a journey on 27 May 2019.

Yours sincerely,

Anner van Hardenbroek

FOI, Transport for London

Dear Anner Van Hardenbroek

We adhere to the guidance set out by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) regarding requests for internal reviews in accordance with section 45 of the FOI Act. The ICO advises that should a requester require an internal review in relation to an FOI response, this should be raised within a period of 2 months following the receipt of the FOI response.

Due to the fact that we provided our response to your request on the 12 June 2019 and you have now raised an issue with the information some 8 months later on the 10th February 2020, I am unable to conduct an internal review on this occasion.

As mentioned previously if you wish to make a new FOI request you are more than welcome to do so.

Yours sincerely
