Dear FOI,
Thank you very much for your response.
We do not require the list of cases they handled but will it be possible if you could provide us with the number of cases they represented for the treasury Solicitors acting for the Secretary of State for home Department?
Yours sincerely,

Dear Sir
Thank you for your further email in response our reply to your information request.
Due to the limitations of our systems, to provide the number of cases in which Mr Justice Singh and Mr Justice Jay acted for the Secretary of State for the Home Department we would have to examine the records for each and every one of the cases in which either counsel was involved in order to identify the client in each one. We are unable to provide this information within the financial limits. However, given that the Treasury Solicitor's Department does a lot of work for the Home Office, the number of Home Office cases is likely to have been significant.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Woods
