Dear Mr Delahunty

You were sent the response below to your previous FOI regarding number of
JR's received by the Trust

Please find below the response to your FOI request provided by Slough
Childrens Services Trust.

Question 1 Since 2015 how many notifications for judicial review have been
brought the Trust
Answer

This information is not held in an easily accessible format.
We believe that the cost of collating the information in order
to respond to your request would exceed the threshold of £450
as defined by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection
(Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004.  As a result, we
are refusing your request under section 12 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

Question 2 How many of these notifications resulted in further action?

You will note that it was not possible to provide this data to you and to
do so would have taken your request over the prescribed time limit laid
down by the Freedom of Information Act.

You have now requested the same data by submitting 5 separate requests.

When a public authority is estimating whether the appropriate limit is
likely to be exceeded, it can include the costs of complying with two or
more requests if the conditions laid out in regulation 5 of the fee
regulations can be satisfied.  those conditions require the requests to
be:

Made by one person , or by different persons who appear to the public
authority to be acting in concert or in pursuance of a campaign

Made for the same or similar information

Received by the public authority within a period of 60 consecutive working
days.

The council believe that regulation 5 is satisfied and have therefore
aggregated your first and subsequent requests.

Section 12(1) of FOIA does not oblige a public authority to comply with a
request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of
complying with the request would exceed the appropriate limit.

Please accept this email as a notice of refusal under S12 (cost limit) of
the FOIA.

Regards, SBC FOI Officer
